A blog (http://delhicrooks.blogspot.com ) was started off as a warning only to the crooks of the story. We did not really want to publish everything online but it seems that they want us to do this. And of course as somebody in the comments area said, it is a social responsibility also. We are pretty sure by now that this is actually the real business of

We are three (girls) of the hundreds of undergraduate girls and boys across the city studying and working at the same time. Whenever get some spare time out of our studies we participate in temporary event jobs offered by Event Management and Advertising agencies in the city. We work as promoters and sometimes as coordinators (When working as a coordinator, the one who receives a call keeps a certain amount as referral money. This is agreed by all of us.)
Doing this for a year’s time working with several companies and brands we learnt a lot and also earned some money which proved to be helpful for us in our studies...
Everything went well until the day we were contacted by these crooks…

A manpower vendor named ‘Ravi Shankar’ called wanting us to join a promotional assignment for Samsung, organized by Akriti Info-media Pvt. Ltd. (the crooks company) We asked him for a confirmation from ad agency’s end as we never do an assignment until and unless a company takes the responsibility.
So as per our request we received the following email sent by Dr. Devendra Singh Digari (the key person and the leader of the crooks)
Post this email we joined and started working. We were told to be paid at the end of the event.

We were told to move to some different locations (different outlets at the different locations of the city, in-fact one of us was told to go to
We could not afford to lose such hard work of ours so we decided to manage and accepted to reach the new locations given. But for some reason then, they did not want us to join the next day. They said they were off for two three days and would inform us when to join.
Since that day now we have been trying everything we can do but the crooks are not ready to pay us. Everyday they made different excuses they asked to return the stopped cheque and the Samsung uniforms we had,
They said Monday then Tuesday then some other day and so on.

We called up the police by dialing 100 from outside their office; we could not understand what exactly happened that the police ignored complain against the threat given to us. However they did help us get a new cheque (shown below, from Ravi Shanker’s account this time). They asked us to return the Samsung uniforms and the cheque (shown above) to Dr. Digari
Seven thousand nine hundred only, the total amount we are to receive. We have tried several times since June 10th but this account only has 1000 bucks. Now this is what they say when we call them.
